Frequently asked questions

Does changing DPI add detail to an image?

DPI metadata defines how pixels translate to print size. Resizing can add pixels, but it cannot guarantee recovery of detail missing from the original.

Which DPI settings are available?

The tool offers export settings from 300 to 1200 DPI.

What is the best starting file?

Use the largest, clearest original you have. Small screenshots and heavily compressed images offer less detail to work with.
