Frequently asked questions
What are semi-transparent pixels?
They have an opacity between fully transparent and fully opaque. They often appear along soft edges, shadows and faded areas.
Will every cleanup mode remove all semi-transparency?
No. Some modes preserve partial opacity above the threshold. Choose a mode that makes retained pixels opaque when you need binary transparency.
Should I check fine details after cleaning?
Yes. Stronger thresholds can remove thin lines and soft details. Inspect your preview before downloading.
